The inaugural Texas Symposium on Machine Learning, Responsible AI and Robotics brought together leaders in academia, industry, government, and nonprofits to explore responsible innovation in AI and robotics. The two-day symposium was co-hosted by the Machine Learning Lab, Good Systems, and Texas Robotics on March 3-4, 2026.
Highlights included keynotes by Gregory D. Hager (Johns Hopkins University), Kilian Weinberger (Cornell University), and Alice Xiang (Sony AI); panels exploring topics such as agentic AI and the changing landscape of work and innovation at the intersection of robotics and healthcare; research presentations from Machine Learning Lab, Good Systems, and Texas Robotics experts; and an interactive poster session and networking reception.
The Texas Symposium on Machine Learning, Responsible AI and Robotics expands the Good Systems annual symposium through a collaboration with the Machine Learning Lab and Texas Robotics. The event is free and open to the public.
