The 2024 Good Systems Symposium convened faculty leaders, researchers, students, professionals, and community members to share research insights and discuss the future of human-centered, values-driven artificial intelligence. Highlights included opening and closing keynotes by Dr. Kristian Hammond (Northwestern University) and Dr. Helen Nissenbaum (Cornell Tech), a featured panel on how generative AI is transforming the future of work, a poster session and networking reception, and research presentations and demos from Good Systems experts.
The Good Systems Symposium is the signature annual event of the UT Austin interdisciplinary research challenge to design AI technologies for the benefit of society. It is free and open to the public.
