Museum of South Texas Sunday Speaker Series Online - Hurricane Beulah

This presentation will focus on the impact of Hurricane Beulah on South Texas and Northeastern Mexico. Local storytellers will narrate their experiences during this historic and iconic Hurricane. One presenter, a scientist who develops computer models on floods and water levels, will show a model he has created specific to Beulah. The museum will also provide Beulah specific multi-media from its collections. Panelists: Clint Dawson Ph.D., Guadalupe Gonzalez, Lupe Saenz, Edna Saenz This is the first in a three part collaborative series between MOSTHistory and Planet Texas, a University of Texas research center dedicated to the rigorous study of climate change.
