With such unpredictable weather patterns facing Central Texans, now more than ever we must resolve systemic inequities in infrastructure, resources and policies that maintain and worsen disadvantages in Austin, specifically communities in Southeast Austin. The Center for Community Engagement, in partnership with Planet Texas 2050, and community-based organizations Dove Springs Proud and Go Austin / Vamos Austin (GAVA) invite you to a Front Porch Gathering to explore, challenge, and collectively address the historic and ongoing effects of flooding and unequal climate precautions that negatively impact communities in Southeast Austin.
