Can Climate be Stranger than Fiction?

On Friday Dec. 18, students from Lecturer and Undergraduate Writing Program Director John Pipkin’s “Writing Climate Fiction” class will read excerpts of their short stories and engage the Planet Texas 2050 community in dialogue on the role narratives play in relation to climate change – and climate solutions. The event will also feature remarks from Planet Texas 2050 former faculty chair and English associate professor Heather Houser, as well as a Q&A moderated by Classics associate professor Adam Rabinowitz, co-lead of a new Planet Texas project entitled “Stories of Ancient Resilience.”  Register now!
