CE397 – Sustainable Systems (Spring 2020)
Instructor: Fernanda Leite. This course provides a multi-disciplinary overview of the sustainability issues related to urban development, and it focuses on the strategies and considerations available to tackle these challenges from an engineering systems perspective. This is a seminar-format project-based course where students participate actively in discussion sessions. The topics will be addressed through lectures, discussions, and other activities. Participants will prepare for each class via readings and/or a thought exercise and come prepared to engage in discussions.
GEO191 – Graduate Seminar on Planet Texas 2050 (Spring 2020)
Instructors: Jay Banner, Lakin Beal, Planet Texas 2050 researchers, and guest lecturers. This course emphasizes interdisciplinarity and will require us all to communicate in ways that bridge the barriers across our home disciplines. The topics will be addressed through lectures, discussions, and other activities.
